To mark 6th year of the National Day for Staff Networks, a brand new annual, national award that recognises, honours and celebrates the outstanding contributions and achievements of individual staff networks across the different sectors is being launched. This Stellar Standard is open to networks at any stage of their journey - from new and emerging to long established.

These groups will have played a key role in supporting diversity and inclusion processes, practices and activities within their organisations. They will either have demonstrated results in their workforce, transformation in their workplace or improvements in their products, service delivery or wider industry.

Founder, Cherron Inko-Tariah MBE says: “

Because of their insight, experience and intelligence, networks can lead the way in helping the business navigate change. They devise practical, creative and commercially viable solutions to help address the systemic challenges faced by certain groups. The Stellar Standard wants to recognise networks putting this into practice. It’s an exciting time for the networks community”

This won’t be like the plethora of current diversity awards that exist where networks is a category alongside others, nice though they are. The recipients of this Staff Networks Stellar Standard award will be declaring a standard of excellence for staff networks and organisations working to improve their culture.

The time is right for this standard. The time is now!
